I hope everyone had a safe and rewarding holiday? There's not much news since it's only the beginning of the year, but there are a few immediate things that you need to take note of.

Summer Holiday Schedule

Petersham

Classes start again this Monday 7th January - that's probably TODAY for most of you.

The holidays are an ideal time to BRING A FRIEND. You'll be spending a lot of time with friends - why not spend it with them in the dojo. 

Newtown

Start again on Wed 2nd February.

Any Newtown students who are are keen to train during the holidays are encouraged to come to Petersham during the holidays.

IFK Australia 16th Annual Camp

Have you forgotten to book your place at the IFK Australia Summer Camp? You can still do it!

You can even still book the Camp T-shirt too.  They've already been ordered and we ordered a few extra, but there's no guaranteed that your size will be available.

You really shouldn't miss out on Shihan David. This is a great opportunity, as he is one of the modern legends of Kyokushin. He has been going around the world to the different IFK countries and teaching there. Check out the links below to see how many people turn out to train with him! How well can we do?

The Friday session (8:30am-4:30pm) will be a special children's training session, with a mini-tournament to close it off.

Adults are welcome on Friday too - especially those who want to be involved in teaching the kids. The weekend will be more traditional, but kids can (and have in the past) come for the whole weekend.

On Sunday, of course we'll also have an early morning beach training session.

Annual Membership

Have you paid your annual membership? If you joined before 1st of May 2018, it's due if you haven't already paid it. It's only 10, and it's helps keep us IFK Australia members insured. If you have not received your invoice, or aren't sure, please contact Anthony Zamattia, the treasurer of IFK-Australia Inc, by emailing anthony@ifk-australia.com
